Born on Long Island, New York, I started playing golf when I was in High School. I shot my first and
only hole-in-one while shooting a practice round while on the golf team. I held on to those very same
golf clubs for close to 12 years until one day my car was stolen with my golf clubs in the trunk.
I got the car back after a few days but the clubs were gone. For almost ten years after I played with a
"hand-me-down" set from a friend who never mentioned that his former clubs were custom fit to his 5'-5" frame.
Being that I'm is 6'-2" you could imagine the difficulties I had playing with those shorter clubs.
Before total frustration set in, I found Gary Balliet, now L4G's Custom Club Director, from a Craig's List ad,
who fit me with a custom set of golf clubs. Thus the synergistic relationship was born that has lead to the creation of Loco4Golf.com. My professional background is with marketing and graphic design. I graduated from Arizona State's Graphic Design Program in 1995. My favorite place to play golf is in Rocky Point, Mexico. I love the idea of finishing a round of golf and jumping right into the ocean to cool off with a cold beer in hand. I will travel almost anywhere to play golf as I love to explore new courses. |
